Engine Mounts are constantly being loaded up every time you accelerate or decelerate. As with any rubber mounting it will degrade very quickly, allowing for excessive engine movement whilst driving. This can cause stress and failure of hoses, cables and exhaust systems, along with reducing traction and power delivery to the road.

The VW Golf Mk1, along with the Scirocco and Jetta, has a mount at the front of the engine which uses a bush to control the engine movement against the torque reactions.

It offers more control of the engine with a more instant power delivery and improved traction, whilst safe guarding the connecting hoses and exhaust downpipe.

POWERFLEX bushes improve your cars' road holding and chassis performance by controlling the amount of unwanted flex in the suspension. This means your suspension is doing what it is supposed to. This equates to your tyres having greater contact with the road at all times therefore improving safety and performance. Correctly formulated polyurethane is as good if not better at noise, vibration and harshness suppression when compared to rubber.

* Prolonged tyre life
* Improved performance
* Increase safety
* Greater cost-effectiveness

Imprecise handling? Uneven tyre wear? Braking instability?
These are the common problems associated with soft, ageing, or failing rubber compound suspension bushes. POWERFLEX products offer the cure.
