ECS MK5/MK6 Adjustable Sway Bar Upgrade Kit - Front - 25mm

£256.29

  • Ex Tax: £256.29

If you’re looking to improve the handling of your VW MK5/MK6 Golf, GTI or Jetta, this is the best place to start! These cars have more body roll than desired and the stock sway bar doesn't quite do enough for most owners to be satisfied.

Larger diameter sway bars have a higher torsional spring rate which helps resist excessive body roll. By eliminating the excessive body roll and changing the stiffness of the sway bars front to rear, we can improve handling characteristics by reducing understeer and keep the tire in full contact with the ground. By upgrading to the ECS Tuning Adjustable Sway Bar, you will experience less body roll, and a massive improvement to the handling characteristics of your vehicle*, with virtually no sacrifice in ride quality.

ECS Tuning sway bars are adjustable and allow for a “softer” setting, or a “stiffer” setting, depending on your driving preferences.

INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT

  • Need installation tips? We put together a full installation tutorial from start to finish including how to remove your OEM parts in detail! See our Installation PDF under the INSTALLATION Tab for more information.

  • * We recommend our front sway bar to be used with a larger diameter rear sway bar upgrade first. Installing the ECS front sway bar with the factory rear sway bar WILL result in more understeer.

  • ** Although compatible with OEM sway bar end links, we recommended use with our ECS Tuning Adjustable Sway Bar End Links. See ES3184741

  • *** Developed specifically for Volkswagen GTI models. Similar applications will share the same fitment, however, it is up to the end user to determine sway bar diameter necessary for their intended purpose as handling characteristics will change from chassis-to-chassis.

  • **** The front subframe will need lowered from the chassis to allow removal / installation, thus requiring all new front subframe hardware. Complete front subframe / sway bar installation kits are available separately under your specific model.
