ECS Tuning's Adjustable Short Throw Shifter is mainly constructed of billet 6061-T6 aluminum for structural strength and weight savings, a 304 stainless steel shaft designed to retain use of your OE shift knob, mated with a maintenance-free 440c stainless steel and self lubricating bearing. The shifter plates secured at the base are produced of nylatron, a material that offers a friction level 2.7 times lower in comparison to brass, offering superior wear and noise resistance that makes it an ideal material for slide plate applications to extend part life.
